Here at Elevate, we are committed to empowering people to achieve their fitness goals. Along with our studio-based classes and personal training, we now offer a great range of wellness classes. Our Wellness classes are available Monday to Friday in our brand-new studio. 

What we offer

If you’re looking for Body Revive, Vinyasa yoga, Hatha Yoga or Pilates classes in Peterborough, you’ve come to the right place! Our expert instructors are here to help you improve your range of movement, learn to relax, stretch and become more in tune with your body. All of which are beneficial to a well-rounded fitness routine. Over the next month, we’ll be introducing you to our wellness instructor team in our series of blogs. They are here to guide you on your journey to a more rounded fitness experience, taking your training to the next level.

Meet our wellness trainers:

Our Body Revive Instructor: Ian Tennant

Meet Ian, he leads our Body Revive session here at Elevate, which takes place every Thursday at 18:15. This body conditioning class is a fantastic addition to your regular training, giving your body the recovery session it needs and deserves. With guidance from Ian, you can learn new types of movement to stimulate growth throughout your whole body.

He believes that “Everybody can benefit by adding a bit of spice to their movement regime. It is clinically proven that changing the way we move also encourages growth in parts of our brains needed for coordination. This class is a chance to enjoy finding out what your body is capable of, without worrying how silly you may look.”

Our Yoga Instructors: Gemma & Joanne

Meet our yoga teachers Gemma (left) and Joanna (right). Gemma teaches Hatha yoga here at Elevate, whilst if you’re looking for a Vinyasa yoga class in Werrington, try Joanne’s classes. With a combined experience of just under 15 years, they have a wealth of knowledge to help guide your yoga journey. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or looking to try your first class, all abilities are welcome.

Our yoga sessions run on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If you’d like to learn about the differences between Hatha yoga and Vinyasa yoga, then keep an eye on our blog. Our instructors will be taking us through it later this month.

Our Pilates Instructor: Christy

Christy leads our Pilates classes and says her “Classes are focused on controlled movements to build a strong core. As a result, the body is trained to properly activate muscles and increase muscle endurance.” She runs two classes a week here at Elevate Monday at 17:15 and Thursday mornings at 10 am.
